National Gumdrop Day – how fun! I have to admit, gumdrops are not my favorite candy to eat – although I do enjoy decorating with them at Christmas. But the idea of National Gumdrop Day, made me think of candy I enjoyed as a kid. Does anyone remember grape shoestring liquorice? It was one of my favorites, and I’m not sure it even exists anymore! For National Gumdrop Day, I am going to treat myself to a trip to a local candy and soda shop and select a special sweet memory!
I’m a wife, mother, homemaker and employee. Like many people, I find myself wishing my life away. I play the game – ‘It will be better when I get the housework done, after I complete this project, as soon as I have a vacation,’ etc., etc., etc….. Well it is time to stop. Join me as I begin the journey to live in the moment and enjoy everyday. It’s time to stop just being busy and start living. I intend to challenge myself to try new things, take care of myself, spend quality time with my family, and find joy in everyday! I’m not perfect, and I don’t intend to become perfect. My goal: I want to learn to live in the moment and have fun.
